Simmered sardines

This exquisite dish is made by carefully selecting fresh domestic sardines and slowly cooking them using traditional techniques.

This “Choshi-ni Sardines” is carefully prepared over about 5 hours using fragrant soy sauce brewed in Choshi.

By slowly stewing the sardines over a long period of time so that you can eat them whole, from head to tail, innards, and bones, we have achieved a texture that is surprisingly soft and falls apart in your mouth.

This “Choshi-ni Sardines” can be enjoyed in a wide range of ways, both as a side dish for alcoholic beverages and as a side dish for rice.
It goes well with sake and shochu, of course, but also surprisingly well with wine and craft beer, making mealtimes even more special.
Just put it on rice and you’ll have a luxurious bowl of rice with a strong flavor. If you make it into ochazuke, the richness of the sardines will intertwine with the dashi stock, making it a heart-warming bowl of rice.

This product has been loved for many years as the manufacturer’s most popular product. The reliable quality supported by long-time fans and the deep flavor of traditional techniques continue to fascinate many people. In addition, it can be stored at room temperature for 180 days and can be eaten immediately after opening, so it is a great point that you can enjoy it easily even in busy daily lives. The unique feature of this manufacturing method is that it can be stored for a long time, yet you can enjoy the flavor as if it was freshly made.

It is provided in a single-serving size of 100g, so it is easy to use as a side dish for one person and can be shared. And because it is manufactured by a manufacturer that has acquired ISO22000, food safety management is thorough and high quality is guaranteed. This simmered sardine, which combines both safety and traditional flavor, will be a very attractive product for overseas buyers as well.
