Seaweed

Iwate prefecture is Japan’s number one seaweed producing area. The exploitation of new seaweed begins in every March, and this product uses seaweed from late March to early April, which is the best season of seaweed.

Seaweed contains a large amount of “iodine” that is necessary for the synthesis of thyroid hormone. Thyroid hormone is especially important for pregnant and lactating women because it is involved in metabolism and is required for normal fetal and infant development.

In addition to iodine, it is rich in minerals such as calcium and magnesium. They are nutrients that help maintain bone health, regulate blood pressure…

Ingredient name: Seaweed (Iwate), salt

Inner capacity: 100g

Storage method: Store at 10 ° C or below.

How to use:

Soak in water to remove salt.

After washing the wakame seaweed with water, put it back in the water about 3 minutes.

Do not squeeze the seaweed, place it on a cutting board, leave it for about 1 minute, and cut it to the desired length.

How to eat:

Cut it into a size that is easy to eat, and enjoy as salad with your favorite vegetables.

Miso soup is also one of the best ways to enjoy the seaweed. Put it in a bowl and pour in miso soup.
