Southern Kyushu, consisting of Kagoshima, Miyazaki, and Kumamoto prefectures, has a mild climate and many mineral-rich water sources, and eels raised in Southern Kyushu are characterized by their health and high quality.
This product uses eels from Southern Kyushu that have been raised on an original feed mix and that meet strict quality standards.
In addition, the eels are processed by skilled craftsmen, carefully butchered, grilled with an electric heater that uses a wavelength closest to that of binchotan charcoal, and steamed with steam at a maximum of 300°C using the industry’s first “heated steam” machine.
This allows for efficient production of the finest, plump and tender grilled eel.
There is no eel odor, and the meat is permeated with the sauce.
This product has been recognized for its deliciousness, gaining popularity throughout Japan and spreading around the world.
