Asahi Junmai Daiginjo “Tenchi no Kanade” made with Kimura-style naturally grown rice

Junmai Daiginjo Brewed from Asahi Rice Grown by the Kimura-Style Natural Farming Method

This premium Junmai Daiginjo sake is crafted from Asahi rice cultivated using the Kimura-style natural farming method—completely free of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides—and polished to 48%.
It offers a clean, crisp, and dry flavor with a fruity and elegant aroma, beautifully balanced by gentle sweetness and a mild acidity.

Kimura-Style Natural Farming

Cultivation Without Fertilizers, Pesticides, or Herbicides

The Kimura-Style Natural Farming Method was developed by Akinori Kimura, known worldwide for the “Miracle Apples.”
After years of perseverance, Kimura discovered a way of cultivation that works in harmony with the laws of nature—without relying on fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides.
At the heart of this method lies a respect for the power of the soil and the balance of the ecosystem.

In rice paddies where this philosophy is practiced, a dynamic cycle of nature takes place. Nutrients are naturally created through the perfect collaboration of countless living organisms.
Farmers work closely with nature—observing attentively, engaging with care, and applying wisdom and experience every day to live in harmony with both “nature” and “cultivation.”

Asahi Rice — Full of Natural Vitality

Asahi is a legendary rice variety praised by professionals who truly understand rice.
It is the ancestral strain from which renowned varieties such as Koshihikari and Sasanishiki originated.
Its refined, clean sweetness and subtle umami create an elegant and balanced flavor.

Enjoy the unique character of Asahi rice grown through Kimura-style natural farming in the warm, gentle climate of southern Okayama, along the Seto Inland Sea.
